NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the central government, and Delhi’s lieutenant governor (LG) of conspiring to harm Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal while he is in jail. Singh alleged that there was a deliberate attempt to endanger Kejriwal’s life through misleading and contradictory information about his health.
Singh said, “The medical report of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal indicates that any untoward incident could happen to Kejriwal in jail at any time.”
He presented medical reports showing that Kejriwal’s sugar levels have dangerously dropped below 50 on several occasions, including June 3, 4, and July 1, among others.Singh criticized the erratic statements from authorities, which initially claimed Kejriwal was consuming excess sweets and now suggest he is starving. He sees this as evidence of a deeper conspiracy to harm Kejriwal.
According to Singh, the inconsistent health reports and failure to provide accurate medical data by the BJP and LG amount to a serious offense. He suggested that this could lead to charges of attempted murder. Singh emphasised that the discrepancies in health reports and lack of appropriate medical care indicate a deliberate attempt to jeopardize Kejriwal’s life.
Singh also highlighted a “clear pattern of negligence and false information” aimed at harming Kejriwal, raising serious concerns about the intentions of the BJP and LG and the integrity of the health management provided to him.
He stressed the need for immediate action to address these issues and ensure proper management of Kejriwal’s health. Additionally, Singh announced that the AAP’s legal team is considering filing charges of attempted murder against those involved, accusing them of false reporting and negligence in handling Kejriwal’s health.
