Apple has announced dates of its much-awaited event of the year. Dubbed ‘It’s Glowtime’, the event is scheduled for September 9 where the Cupertino-based company will unveil its 2024 iPhone lineup along with other major launches. Apple will host the event at Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park at 10 a.m. PT or 10:30 pm IST.
Undoubtedly the iPhone 16 series launch will be a major highlight of the event.But the company is said to unveil other devices like Apple Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, AirPods 4, iPad mini 7 and more at the event. Here’s a list of expected launches other than iPhone 16 series

Apple Watch 10 series specs (expected)

2024 marks the 10th year of Apple’s entry into smartwatch. The company is rumoured to bring Apple Watch 10 series at its September event which is said to see a screen size bump. The new Watch 10 series is expected to come in 45mm and 49mm versions. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously said the Watch 10 may have a thinner form factor.
Among other changes, the new Apple Watch 10 series is rumoured to come with health upgrades as well. These may include blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection through advanced sleep and breathing analysis.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 specs (expected)

As far as the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is concerned, the smartwatch is said to feature the same design as its predecessor. Apple is rumoured to offer more case colours along with a new chip. New health features reportedly coming on the Apple Watch Ultra 3 are a blood pressure monitor, sleep apnea sensor, and glucose monitor.

Apple AirPods 4 specs (expected)

Apple AirPods is said to see an upgrade with the launch of Apple AirPods 4 at the September event. It is rumoured that the company may replace the AirPods 3 and 2 with new mid-range and entry-level AirPods 4 options.
The upcoming AirPods may feature a new design along with new colours and improved noise cancellation. Apple is also rumorued to offer USB Type-C charging with the AirPods 4.
Additonally, the company may bring Apple AirPods Pro 3 at its September event.

Apple iPad mini 7

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says that the iPhone maker is also planning to bring iPad mini 7 at the event. “Many Apple stores are low on stock of the iPad mini in several configs, while the device is considered ‘constrained’ internally within Apple, I’m told. That could be a sign a new one is coming,” he said.

Apple iOS 18, iPadOS 18

Apple announced new operating system earlier this year at WWDC event in June – iOS 18, iPadOS 18, WatchOS 11, tvOS 18, VisionOS 2 and macOS Sequoia. These are finally set to get a public rollout at the September event.
‌iOS 18‌ brings a host of new features to iPhones. It also introduces Apple Intelligence, a suite of AI features that are built deeply into the operating system. While Apple Intelligence may not come until later in the beta testing process, but it includes features for refining and editing writing, generating images and emoji, and most notably, improving Siri and search. ‌
