Popular Tamil actor Raghu Balaiah, popularly known as Junior Balaiah, son of late veteran actor TS Balaiah, passes away. He was 70 years old. Junior Balaiah passed away due to suffocation at his residence in Valasarawakkam in Chennai early today on November 2, 2023.
Raghu Balaiah’s funeral is said to be held this evening. Many people from the film industry are also condoling the demise of Junior Balaiah.
He made his debut in Tamil with the film ‘Melnaattu Marumagal’ which was released in 1975.He is known for his roles in films like Karagattakaran, Sundara Kandam, Winner and Saattai. Apart from cinema, Junior Balayya has also acted in serials including ‘Chithi’, ‘Vazhkai’ and ‘Chinna Papa Periya Papa’.
Junior Balaiah played an important role in Ajith’s ‘Nerkonda Parvai’ and the last film he acted was in 2021’s ‘Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam’.
