LUCKNOW: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav took a jab at the Narendra Modi-led NDA ahead of the swearing-in ceremony on Sunday. Commenting on the upcoming government, Yadav suggested it would face difficulties.

In a post on ‘X’, Yadav wrote, Upar se koi taar nahi, neeche koi aadhar nahi. Adhar me jo latki hui wo to koi ‘sarkar’ nahi.” This translates to the new government’s situation being uncertain.
Narendra Modi is set to take the oath as Prime Minister for the third consecutive term at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday evening.
During the previous two terms, BJP managed to form the government with an absolute majority. However, this time, the party hasn’t secured an absolute majority.
In this scenario, the role of allies like the Telugu Desam Party and the Janata Dal United becomes crucial for the formation of the government.
The SP contested the Lok Sabha elections as part of the INDIA bloc and secured 37 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh.
