NEW DELHI/PIDUGURALLA (ANDHRA PRADESH): A relative stabbed three members of a family to death in Piduguralla, located in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh.
The tragic incident occurred due to a marital dispute, as reported by a police official on Thursday.
On Thursday morning, the gruesome triple murders were discovered.
According to the police, D Srinivas Rao (28) is responsible for stabbing his brother-in-law A Naresh (32), his father A Sambasiva Rao (63), and his mother A Adi Lakshmi (60) in Konanki village of Piduguralla mandal.
On Wednesday night, D Madhuri (26), the wife of Naresh, contacted her brother Srinivas Rao and father D Subba Rao (62) when a dispute emerged with her husband.
The disagreement stemmed from her inability to participate in agricultural work in their field due to stomach pain, as informed by a police official to PTI.
When Naresh inquired why Madhuri hadn’t come to work, she explained that she was experiencing stomach pain and requested him to take her to a hospital.
However, he did not fulfill her request.
Despite arranging for a local doctor to come and administer an injection to Madhuri on Wednesday evening, the altercation with her husband did not resolve.
Frustrated by the ongoing dispute, she reached out to her brother and father, as explained by the official.
Madhuri’s brother and father arrived at her residence by 9:30 pm on Wednesday, carrying knives with them.
As the conflict between the husband and wife escalated, with Naresh purportedly grabbing Madhuri by the neck, an enraged Srinivas Rao fatally stabbed his brother-in-law and Naresh’s parents, according to the police.
Police report that Madhuri was Naresh’s second wife, and the couple has a six-year-old son.
Over the past year, the couple has been embroiled in ongoing disputes.
Naresh, a graduate, owned 15 acres of land and engaged in money lending for interest.
Authorities have initiated a manhunt for Srinivas Rao and Subba Rao, and a case under IPC Section 302 has been registered.
