NEW DELHI: The Mumbai Police on Tuesday received another threat targeting Bollywood actor Salman Khan, allegedly from someone claiming to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The person who sent the message claimed to be gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother.
“If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our (Bishnoi community) temple and apologise or pay Rs 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active,” stated the threatening message.
The incident follows the recent arrest of Azam Mohammad Mustafa, aged 56, from Bandra, who was apprehended for sending a threatening message to Khan. The Worli police registered a case after receiving an anonymous threat demanding Rs 2 crore, with warnings of endangering the actor’s life. The threat was initially
received through the traffic police’s helpline.
Earlier, authorities had taken a 24-year-old individual into custody regarding a separate threat case.
