RANCHI: Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has received the 10th ED summon on Saturday, asking him to appear again on Jan 29 or 30 and record his statement or else the agency itself will come to him for the purpose.
ED is seeking Soren’s questioning in connection with illegal transaction of a land plot measuring 8.5 acres in Bariatu area of Ranchi.
In response to the ninth summons, the CM had sent a letter saying he will inform ED about the date of recording his statement later.Soren said due to the impending budget session, he won’t be available for questuning till March 31.
Earlier, Soren had recorded his statement at his residence on Jan 20.
