The 10th-year Apple Watch model, aka Apple Watch Series 10, rumoured to be dubbed Apple Watch X, is said to be the biggest overhaul. This overhaul might bring a bigger display and a thinner casing, as per analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Kuo notes that the Apple Watch X will come in two new sizes – 45mm and 49mm, a significant increase from the current 41mm and 45mm options. The larger screen sizes will bring the Series 10 closer to the dimensions of the current Apple Watch Ultra, which has a 49mm case height.
Despite the increase in size, the new Apple Watch will sport a slimmer chassis, notes the analyst. This is in line with what Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has suggested. As per Gurman, Apple is working on a thinner design for iPhone, MacBook, and Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Ultra may get a new colour
Kuo also noted that while the Apple Watch Ultra will maintain its current dimensions, Apple may introduce a new dark titanium colour option for the Ultra model, provided production yields meet expectations.
What more to expect from Apple Watch X
Apart from the design changes, the Apple Watch X will come with a magnetic watch band, a big change from the mechanical attachment. This would allow Apple to shrink the chassis while increasing the battery capacity and more internal components. The Watch X is also expected to come with a blood pressure sensor.
