Arun Govil, best known for his portrayal as Lord Ram in the popular television series Ramayan, expressed disappointment after attending the historic inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Despite being a visitor at the historic event, Arun Govil stated that he did not get the opportunity to visit the newly constructed temple.
As per a news portal, Arun was asked about his reaction to his visit to Ram Mandir, he shared, “Sapna toh bhaiya poora ho gaya par mujhe darshan nahi hue.Main kuch nahi keh sakta iss samay.” (My dream got fulfilled but I couldn’t get to do the idol’s darshan. I cannot say anything at this moment.)

Apart from Arun, Dipika Chikhlia, Sunil Lahri and many eminent stalwarts from Bollywood were present at the historic consecration ceremony. The celebs witnessed the event as they gathered outside the temple, while PM Modi was present inside the temple while the ceremony of Pran Pratishtha was held.

Arun Govil is well known for his portrayal of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, which premiered on Doordarshan in 1987. His portrayal as Lord Ram made him a household celebrity and propelled him to unprecedented stardom. His acting abilities were so impressive that the audience still reveres him, and other performers who have played Lord Ram on screen are frequently compared to him.
As a result, it comes as no surprise that he is among the distinguished visitors invited to Ayodhya for the Ram Lalla consecration event. In an interview, he talked about how his involvement in the legendary serial from over 30 years ago influenced his life.

The concert was headlined by Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, who played Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, respectively.
