A student has been rushed to hospital and another arrested after an altercation at a Sunshine Coast school.
Caloundra State High School was thrown into lockdown at 10am on Tuesday after an altercation between two students.
It is understood the altercation involved a knife.
A male student in his teens was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after suffering an injury to his hip, a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said.
His injuries are not life threatening and were described as “superficial”.
Another student was taken into custody, Queensland Police confirmed.
