NEW DELHI: Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday released the party’s manifesto for the Haryana assembly elections.
While speaking on the manifesto, Kharge said the party will conduct a caste survey to ascertain where every community stands in the welfare schemes. He said it would help in identifying the participation of castes in education and jobs.
Kharge promised that the Congress party, if voted to power in Haryana, will give legal guarantee on the MSP.
Along with Kharge, Delhi Congress general secretary KC Venugopal, former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Haryana Congress chief Udai Bhan were also present at Delhi’s headquarters of the Congress party.
The other guarantees include empowerment of women, strengthening social security, secure future for the youth, welfare of families and houses for the poor.
