We have been at the forefront of bringing readers updates from the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. While there are reports that Farah Khan and Malaika Arora have been roped in to adjudicate the dance reality show, we have learnt that the third judge has been locked, too. The makers have brought Arshad Warsi on board as judge number three.
Not new to the world of fiction, Arshad has hosted shows like Razzmatazz (2001), Sabse Favourite Kaun (2003), the inaugural season of Bigg Boss (2006) and judged the dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha (2010).He has also acted in TV shows Karishma — The Miracles of Destiny and Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz Do. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will mark Arshad’s return to the small screen six years after his last outing as a judge on Sabse Bada Kalakar.
A source associated with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa tells us, “We are happy to have Arshad on board for the show. The judging trio is as perfect as it can get. We are in the process of finalising the list of contestants. The first promo for the show is expected to be shot next week.”

Yesterday, we reported about Shoaib Ibrahim, last seen in the TV show Ajooni, being roped in to participate in the dance reality show. We have been informed that Karuna Pandey, who plays the title role in Pushpa Impossible, has been signed as one of the contestants. Barsatein – Mausam Pyar Ka actress Shivangi Joshi and Sumbul Touqeer, who plays the protagonist in Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon, too, have been locked in for the upcoming season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Manisha Rani of Bigg Boss OTT2 fame is also in talks with the makers. The reality show is expected to hit the tube in the first week of November and will conclude in February.
