PATNA: A day after a former district president of AIMIM was shot dead in Siwan, criminals fired at a youth leader of ex-Union minister Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal (RLJD) in neighbouring Saran district of Bihar on Sunday, triggering panic in the area.
Police said Utsav Singh,19, RLJD’s youth wing general secretary, had gone for car servicing near Mehia under Garkha police station around 9.50am when four bike-borne criminals fired at him at a close range, leaving him grievously wounded. His condition is stated to be very critical and he is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Patna.
