In a video posted by BCCI, Axar Patel asked, “During the 10th over break, Virat bhai ne kuch bola tha, woh kya baatcheet hua tha? (During the 10th over break, there were some discussions, what did Virat bhai say?)”
“Actually, 160 seemed like a par score on this wicket. It was tough batting initially, but I thought if I started strong after the break and hit a couple of boundaries, it would be easier for us and the new batters coming in as well,” replied the 33-year-old, while laughing throughout.
Axar playfully responded, “That means you bluffed Virat bhai!”
Suryakumar laughed and said, “No, no, I didn’t bluff! I was just being myself!”
