Rrahul Sudhir, who is known for his work in several popular shows including Ishq Mein Marjawan faced a challenging time in his life when he suffered from a spinal issue with his slipped disc herniating. He gave an exclusive interview to ETimes TV, where he shed light on the situation. The actor got candid about being on bed rest for a year and the helplessness his parents faced during this period.
He also opened up about how his journey of recovery had been filled with ups and downs, requiring immense patience and determination. The actor also opened up about the dull phase in his life after the show Ishq Mein Marjawan.
He said, “I’m a sports person and I used to play basketball for 3-4 years. Every day I used to play for 2-3 years. However, once I started working as an actor, I had to work for 12 hours a day, 18 hours a day and more. Because of the same, I couldn’t work out. This later led to two or three of my slip discs herniating. I was on bed rest for a year. This affected me a lot and eventually made me a very patient person. Talking about my parents, they were very helpless seeing me in the situation.”
By sharing his experience, Sudhir not only raised awareness about spinal injuries but also offered hope to those going through similar struggles.
