NEW DELHI: A fire broke out in the emergency facility of Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi on Tuesday morning around 10.40 am.
According to officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) there were no injuries in the incident.
Atul Garg, the chief of DFS said that “The fire was at gate 6 of the old emergency building of the Safdarjung Hospital. Seven fire tenders were rushed to the site.Fire is in the building’s store room,” he added.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation is underway. The hospital authorities are assessing the extent of the damage caused by the blaze.
