HYDERABAD: Protesting BRS MLAs who squatted in front of chief minister A Revanth Reddy’s chamber at the assembly were physically removed by marshals and evicted out of the assembly on Thursday. They were released later at the BRS party headquarters, Telangana Bhavan.
When the assembly session started in the morning, BRS MLAs entered the assembly wearing black badges. They demanded that chief minister A Revanth Reddy tender an unconditional apology to BRS MLA and former minister Sabitha Indra Reddy.
BRS MLAs took objection to CM Revanth Reddy’s remarks on Thursday itself to a comment by the CM when K T Rama Rao was speaking. Sabitha Indra Reddy said the CM had been deliberately targeting her with comments though the treasury benches said the CM had taken no one’s name and made no disparaging remarks.
On Thursday, former minister K T Rama Rao and other BRS MLAs were carried out of the assembly by marshals and evicted in a police van.
