JAIPUR: Gayatri Bishnoi, president of Rajasthan’s women wing for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on Monday alleged that passengers were drinking in a train and when she wanted to complain, “there were no RPF or GRPF” officials on the train.

In a post on social media platform X uploaded in the wee hours of Monday, Bishnoi wrote, “Not only women but no passenger is safe.It is very surprising, at 1 o’clock in the night, some miscreants are openly harassing the passengers by consuming alcohol and abusing the passengers in the train.”
“When I tried to complain, I found that there is not even a single RPF/GRPF has been deployed in the entire train… When I complained through TTE, police came after one hour. Meanwhile the miscreants are threatening me. With the help of helpful passengers, I stood firm throughout the matter until the police arrived. But if any accident had occurred during this one hour, who would have been responsible for it?,” said Bishnoi.
The video is being widely reshared on the social media platform, where the northwestern railway also instructed officials to look into the matter.
Officials said that Bishnoi was traveling in train number 22997 Jhalawar City-Shriganganagar SF Express.
“An official complaint was lodged at night itself and three passengers were deboarded immediately. We are further investigating the matter to see whether officials were deployed on the train or not,” said a senior official from NWR.
