Google lays off 20 more employees over Israel project protests
Google has fired 20 more employees in relation to protests against the company’s $1.2 billion cloud computing contract with the Israeli government, known as Project Nimbus.
These terminations follow demonstrations at Google offices in New York City and Sunnyvale, California, on April 16. According to the activist group No Tech for Apartheid, which has opposed major tech companies working with Israel since 2021, Google fired about 20 more workers this week, taking the total number to 50

WhatsApp to Delhi HC: Will shut down in India if told to break encryption
