However, Michin was able to work on her confidence thanks to NXT.Recently, she sat down with Instinct Culture and shed light on how the NXT experience was for her. Let’s take a look at what Michin had to say:
“My mindset going in was to go wrestle and have fun. It was cool to feel comfortable in the ring again so that when I went back to the main roster, ‘Yeah, I’m used to this. I can do this.’ Going to NXT helped me up here [points to mind]. That’s the big thing. Once you get [your mind] right, everything falls into place. It’s nice to snatch the wig off and worry about my character, myself, and not have to worry about the edges. I feel like myself.”
Michin wants to lead the new crop of talent in NXT
During her conversation with Instinct Culture, Michin shed light on all the new talent that the NXT is brimming with. She mentioned that she wants to lead the new girls and help them find their way in the ring. This is something that no one did for Michin during the early days of her career.
If Michin had a figure like herself, maybe she wouldn’t have needed time in NXT. However, everything that happened worked out for the better. Since her time in NXT came to an end, Michin has definitely looked more complete and confident as a wrestler. Her selling is now on point, and her skills in the ring leave little to be desired.
This just goes to show that despite being a developmental brand, NXT can even help veterans of the game find their footing in the ring. Michin lost against Chelsea Green tonight, but her performance in the ring is a sight far better than what it was a few months ago. Hopefully, Michin can continue this streak of impressive performances.
