From the Anna Pavilion at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai to one of city’s most famous hangout spots, the Marina Beach, skippers of the two finalists of IPL 2024 reached for the official photoshoot with the trophy on the famous yellow tuk-tuk.
In a video on official social media accounts of the Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Shreyas Iyer and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins are seen onboard an auto-rickshaw.Iyer didn’t miss the opportunity to sit on the driver’s seat and turn the meter down for the ride as cameras panned on the two players.

The two captains could also be heard having a bit of a banter on their way to the beach.
The IPL 2024 final is scheduled for today (Sunday) in Chennai.

The Sunrisers were crowned champions in 2016, which is their only triumph so far. They lifted the trophy with Australian opener David Warner at the helm.
SRH captain Cummins will have a chance to add to his already impressive CV as a captain, having led Australia during their title-winning campaigns in the World Test Championship and the ODI World Cup in 2023.
