Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has often shared some of the most amusing and heartfelt anecdotes from his life with the fans in Kaun Banega Crorepati. In the 15th season, yet again, Big B shares an extremely inspiring tale of his friend who is in the Indian Army that stayed with him.

In the promo, Amitabh Bachchan greets all the members of the audience and says, “Namsakar, peeth ho jatihai na isiliye aap log bohot chillate hai.

(I have to show my back, because of which you all get miffed.) Peethe dikhane ki baat se humko yaad aaya, I had a friend, he was in Indian Army and he was on the frontline during the 1965 war and he was injured. I spoke to him about it and asked him what had happened.”
Big B added, “He told me that his chest was attacked with 24 bullets. I replied to him, ‘that’s true’, he said that his word wasn’t over yet. He shared, ‘Humare peeth mein koi bhi goli nahi hai’.”
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Blog to share about his bandage wrapped on his wrist, “off to work… no not this morning but the morning before… still running on bandaged hand and all… and they ask from the audience in the Break what happened to the hand and why the bandage. I tell them: It is all the love you give me wrapped around my wrist.”
He added, “Truly it is the love and affection of the well-wishers that surrounds me ever and about… they see me on KBC after 30-40 years of a wait and their emotion is so palpable that it moves one to tears.”

Amitabh Bachchan further shared, “I move to each audience member .. and give them all individual attention because they deserve it and much more .. they sit attentively for hours during the recording of the episode; this is the least one can do .. and sign their gifts after .. and store all their affectionate words and letters and hand made articles .. it is the most moving experience. I now adorn my little room on set with them and they remind me and keep me in company during my working hours.”
