Kaun Banega Crorepati 16‘s latest episode started with host Amitabh Bachchan welcoming the audience. The show began with roll-over contestant Nareshi Meena from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Nareshi had won Rs 50 lakhs in the previous episode and she attempted the question for Rs 1 crore. Nareshi, a supervisor at the Women Empowerment Department, is battling a life-altering illness.Despite her challenges, her determination and knowledge earned her a spot on the KBC 16 hotseat.
Before the game show began, Big B spoke highly of Nareshi, commending her for her courage and positive attitude in dealing with life’s challenges. A clip was shown where Nareshi shared her personal struggle with health issues, including a brain tumor diagnosis.
She disclosed that she requires between Rs 25-50 lakhs for proton therapy. Mr. Bachchan spoke with Nareshi’s father, who expressed his amazement at the opportunity to meet the legendary actor and visit the KBC sets. He recounted how, while working on their fields, they would often see airplanes flying overhead but never imagined they would one day travel by one themselves. He credits his daughter for giving him the opportunity to experience his first flight. Nareshi’s father also praised his daughter for earning Rs 50,00,000 in just 50 minutes.
