UIDAI is offering free document submissions on the myAadhaar portal until March 14 to make the process easier and more accessible.
Aadhaar is a 12-digit identity number for Indian residents, obtained using their biometric and demographic details. It’s linked to biometric data, with the aim to make it impossible for residents to have duplicate numbers. Residents’ Aadhaar numbers are unique to their biometrics, reducing the risk of fraud and fake identities.
