NEW DELHI: An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on the Richter scale hit Uttarkashi district in Uttarakhand in the early hours of Thursday, National Center for Seismology said.
According to NCS, the tremors were felt at around 3.49am.
The quake occurred at a depth of 5km.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.2, Occurred on 05-10-2023, 03:49:47 IST, Lat: 31.00 & Long: 78.29, Depth: 5 Km ,Location: Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand(sic)”, NCS said on X, formerly Twitter.
However, there were no immediate reports of any damage.
