MANGALURU: An MBBS student of a private college in Mangalaru in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district allegedly died by suicide.
It is learned that she jumped from the sixth floor of the hostel in the wee hours of Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Prakruthi Shetty, 20.
City police commissioner Anupam Agrawal said that the victim ended her life at AJ Ladies Hostel at around 3 am.
The police have recovered a death note from the spot.
Agrawal said she was “frustrated with her life”, as per the note.
