McDonalds has introduced it’s “hottest-ever” new range in Australia, announcing several new burgers as part of their Fiesty McSpicy campaign and reviving some cult classics with the same fiery kick.

From next Wednesday the Golden Arches will boast three new burgers – the original Fiesty McSpicy and its Double and Cheese and Bacon variants – as the new campaign kicks off.

In a statement, McDonalds said the new burger was its hottest burger yet and was becoming a permanent fixture on Aussie menus.

“Get your tastebuds tingling with 100 per cent Aussie RSPCA Approved chicken, marinated and coated with a range of spices, topped with mayo and 100% crisp Aussie lettuce, on a sesame seed bun,” a spokesman said.

The restaurant also announced the cult favourite items Spicy McNuggets and Spicy Shaker Fries would also be returning to menus.

Unlike the regular menu item, these nuggets pack a fiery kick with a “Fiesty hot sauce” on their RSPCA-approved chicken.

McDonald’s Australia Marketing Manager Lancy Huynh highlights that the range will be bringing together some familiar tastes with some new flavours.

“Our new Feisty McSpicy range offers the iconic Macca’s taste that customers know and love, topped with our Feisty Hot Sauce for a mouth-wateringly memorable kick. In addition to the original McSpicy, we’ve got a feisty line up of new and returning menu items, so whatever spice level you’re craving, there’s something to feed the whole family.”

From May 22, the new range will be available nationwide and customers can grab it instore or via delivery.
