Sometimes you want a small, sweet treat to go with your coffee in the morning and Maccas has answered the call.
The fast-food chain will be introducing the tasty, bite-sized doughnut McPops as a permanent item to McCafés across Australia from Wednesday.
The soft and gooey filled doughnuts will be featured in three flavours, and drizzled in either powdered sugar or cocoa.
The Choc McPop is a mini coca doughnut filled with delicious chocolate filling and dusted with cocoa, perfect for chocolate lovers.
Those who prefer a berry-sweet treat should go for the Berry McPop, a pink doughnut with red berry filling and dusted with sugar.
Anyone who is a Biscoff fan can get their cravings satiated with the Biscoff McPop, a mini doughnut with Biscoff filling and topped with powdered sugar.
These treats will cost $1.50 each or two for $2.50.
Having first launched in 2018 in McCafe’s around Spain, their popularity has allowed them to expand into several other McCafe’s around the world.
Something that McDonald’s Australia’s Marketing Manager Lancy Huynh is excited for Aussies to try out.
“McPops are a fun and affordable snack, brimming with warm sweetness, that we expect our customers are going to love,” she said.
“Pairing perfectly with our McCafé barista-made coffee, they’re a delectable bite-sized treat that will make your morning or afternoon pick-me-up that little bit sweeter.”
The McPops will be available nationwide and through drive-through, MyMacca’s app and delivery.
