According to the Russian news agencies, 11 more suspects, including another two assailants, have been detained. At least four attackers had opened gunfire in the mall.
Citing the “preliminary information”, lawmaker Alexander Khinshtein said attackers were in a Renault vehicle that was spotted by police in Bryansk region, about 340 km (210 miles) southwest of Moscow on Friday night, but disobeyed instructions to stop.
“During the pursuit, shots were fired and the car overturned. One terrorist was detained on the spot, the rest fled into the forest. As a result of the search, a second suspect was found and detained at approximately 3:50 a.m. The search for the others continues,” the lawmaker said.

Meanwhile, the Russian new agencies have reported that 11 more suspects, including another two assailants have been detained.
Late at night on Friday, a few camouflage-clade men entered the Crocus City Mall on the outskirts of capital Moscow and opened indiscriminate firing at the crowd. The men in fatigues hurled explosives, igniting a large fire at the Krasnogorsk-based hall capable of housing 6,000 people.
After the attack, the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the firing.
IS fighters “attacked a large gathering… on the outskirts of the Russian capital Moscow“, the group said in a statement on the Telegram messaging app.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the terrorist attack at a Moscow music hall in Russia in which over 90 people have been killed and 140 wounded.
The Prime Minister “strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow” and said India strongly stands in solidarity with the Russian government.
“We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. India stands in solidarity with the government and the people of the Russian Federation in this hour of grief,” the Prime Minister wrote on X.
