MrBeast becomes first Youtuber to hit 300 million subscribers

Jimmy Donaldson, famously known as “MrBeast” has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first YouTuber to reach 300 million subscribers on the platform. In early June, MrBeast surpassed the Indian music label TSeries to claim the title of the most subscribed YouTube channel. On July 10, 2024, he set a new record by reaching the 300 million subscriber milestone.
Upon achieving this significant milestone, MrBeast shared his excitement on X, saying, “I remember freaking out when I hit 300 subscribers 11 years ago..lol”

Since 2012, MrBeast has been producing content on his main YouTube channel, initially uploading under the name MrBeast6000. His early content focused on gaming, particularly Minecraft and Pokémon Showdown.

As part of his milestone celebration, MrBeast has announced a collaboration with 50 top creators from around the world who will compete for a prize of $1,000,000. The sole winner will claim the prize for their subscribers. Notable creators participating in the video include Kai Cenat, Darren “IShowSpeed”, Olajide “KSI”, and Logan Paul.
Prior to reaching the 300 million subscriber mark, MrBeast recently garnered attention when he expressed his intention to run for the US presidency if the age requirement were lowered.
