BHOPAL: Namibian Cheetah Shaurya died inside Kuno National Park in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.
Officials said the cheetah died around 3 pm.
The day began with concern when, at approximately 11 AM, the tracking team observed signs of incoordination and a staggering gait in the feline.
Responding promptly, the cheetah was tranquilized, revealing underlying weakness.
Efforts were made to revive Shaurya after the tranquilization, but complications emerged post-revival.
Despite attempts the animal failed to respond. The exact cause of Shaurya’s passing remains unknown and will be determined through a thorough Post Mortem examination, officials informed.
Officials said that the remaining 13 adults and four cubs are fine.
