Week 11 is here and with it, some absolute thrillers!
The Lions pulled off a miracle last-minute comeback against the Bears, while the Giants stunned the Commanders. Meanwhile in Charlotte, the Cowboys rolled past the Panthers in a game overshadowed by a very special announcement for Jimmy Johnson, and Justin Herbert and the Chargers lost yet another close game, this time to the Packers in Green Bay.
Later, the 49ers host the Buccaneers while the Rams face the Seahawks and the Jets head to Buffalo to play the Bills some must-win games.
Here is what social media is buzzing about on a high-stakes NFL Sunday!
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers
Nick Bosa’s revenge
The star 49ers defensive end was part of the Ohio State team that lost to Baker Mayfield’s Oklahoma — then had to watch as Mayfield planted the Sooners‘ flag at midfield. Since the two entered the NFL, however, Bosa has repeatedly had the last laugh, with another forced fumble against Mayfield Sunday.
Purdy is BALLING!
Brock Purdy had a special day, highlighted by a perfectly placed touchdown pass to George Kittle.

Cowboys Nation reacts to Jimmy Johnson news
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has officially announced that his longtime friend and former two-time Super Bowl-winning head coach, NFL on FOX‘s own Jimmy Johnson, is finally set to be inducted into the team’s ring of honor on Dec. 30.
It’s a long-awaited moment for Cowboys fans and for Johnson, who exited the team in 1994 amid a deteriorating relationship with Jones. The two former University of Arkansas teammates have since patched up their relationship, however, and their announcement today brought jubilation to Cowboys fans who had long been awaiting this moment — including one of Johnson’s former Cowboys players, Nate Newton.
Cowboys stars slam the door
After the Panthers had narrowed the deficit down to seven, a vintage Tony Pollard run and DaRon Bland pick-six ballooned the lead back up to seven, much to the delight of Cowboys fans — including Skip Bayless and Trevon Diggs. Micah Parsons then added his third sack of the day to help stifle any potential comeback attempt.
Parsons also had a hilarious reason for the flu-like symptoms he showed on the sideline earlier in the game.
New York Giants at Washington Commanders (1 p.m. ET, FOX)
Tommy DeVito balling for Giants?
New York’s undrafted third-string quarterback, pressed into action because of injuries to Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor, has the Giants up early over Washington — and turning heads across the NFL.
Fight!!!
Some extracurricular activities took place late in the first half between these two NFC East rivals.
It’s a Love Story!
Travis Kelce does not play until Monday night, but Kayvon Thibodeaux seems to be channeling the end of Taylor Swift’s breakout hit song with this celebration.
Giants with the win!
Tommy DeVito gets all the New York Italian vibes with his victory, but is Ron Rivera’s seat growing warm in D.C.?
Insult to injury for Commanders…

The Packers may have a new look this year, but their most famous post-touchdown tradition endures.
Meet Stone Smartt!
The Chargers receiver is putting his name out there after torching Green Bay’s secondary with a first-half touchdown.
Chargers gonna Charger?
Down three in the fourth quarter, L.A. drove into the red zone and seemed poised to flip the scoreboard — until Austin Ekeler fumbled inside the five-yard line.
Chargers claw back!
Once defensive stop later, the Chargers convert on their next drive, a beautiful throw from Justin Herbert to Keenan Allen.
… only for the Packers to go right back down the field and retake the lead
Disaster for the Chargers
L.A. kept struggling to build a potential game-winning drive, putting head coach Brandon Staley’s job security back into question with the team now at 4-6.
Staley, however, forcefully defended himself postgame.
Packers troll iconic Chargers tweet
The Packers had an amazing troll of a now-iconic Chargers tweet from 2007 after the win.

The parents of Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and Bears receiver Equanimeous St. Brown are in attendance as their sons face off.

Two of the best wide receivers in the NFL are living up to the hype, and social media is loving it — though Hill and star rookie running back DeVon Achane exited with first-half injuries.

Stroud, meanwhile, is not lacking for confidence.
