Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Ola Electric has announced a significant price reduction on its S1X electric scooter lineup. The S1 X series now offers three battery configurations – 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh – with prices starting at just Rs 69,999 for the introductory 2 kWh model. Following closely behind, the 3 kWh and 4 kWh variants will be priced at Rs 84,999 and Rs 99,999, respectively.The company has said the deliveries for the S1 X models will begin across the nation starting from next week.
Besides this price cut, the manufacturer has also revealed updated pricing for its other models. The S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+ will now be available at Rs 1.30 lakh, Rs 1.05 lakh, and Rs 84,999, respectively. Notably, all S1 scooters will come bundled with a 8-year/80,000 km complimentary battery warranty, at no additional charge.
As per the new price structure, the S1X 2 kWh variant, which has undergone a significant price cut of Rs 10,000, will be available at Rs 69,000. That means, for nearly the price of one flagship S1 Pro model, customers can now purchase two entry-level S1Xs, thus making a significant stride in making electric scooters more affordable for the Indian market.

Ola Electric experienced a substantial triple-digit year-on-year growth. Last month saw the company sell a staggering 53,320 units, marking a remarkable 148.75 percent increase from the 21,435 units sold in March 2023. Moreover, the month-on-month sales also witnessed a substantial uptick, growing by 57.54% from the 33,846 units sold in the preceding month.
