CHATRA: Jharkhand labour and employment minister Satyanand Bhokta’s son, Mukesh Kumar, has been selected for the job of a peon at the Chatra civil court and he is keen to take up the job, despite massive differences with his father over the issue.
Mukesh Kumar Bhokta, 28, an arts graduate, said his father, an RJD politician who won the Chatra seat and is the current department of labour, employment, training and skill development minister, will not be able to dissuade him.
The 28-year-old and his cousin Ramdev Bhokta applied for the job of a peon and also appeared for an interview some time ago. While Mukesh’s name finds a place in the final list of 19 successful candidates, Ramdev is placed on the waiting list.
Mukesh clarified that his father might be in politics and a minister but it doesn’t mean that he, too, will join politics.
