NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi is all set to be on an official visit to Russia and Austria from July 8 to 10, foreign ministry informed on Thursday. Prime Minister will also engage with the Indian diaspora both in Moscow and Vienna.
The two countries will discuss the “prospects for further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Indian relations, as well as relevant issues on the international and regional agenda,” the ministry said in a statement.
PM Modi’s visit to Austria will mark the first visit by an Indian prime minister to the country in 41 years, according to the ministry. This trip also marks PM Modi’s return to Russia after nearly five years.
