An emergency situation is unfolding involving a hot-air balloon, with police setting up a crime scene.
Paramedics have responded to reports of a fall on Albert Road in Preston about 7.30am on Monday, with reports a hot-air balloon is involved.
Dozens of police are on the scene, with the road taped off and closed in both directions momentarily.
Power lines have fallen across onto the road and a white sheet has been laid on the footpath, Today reports.
SES crews and firefighters are also on the scene.
