KAPURTHALA: A government school teacher in Shalapur Bet village allegedly drove his car for around 10 km with a youth, with whom he had a fight, on the bonnet of his car. The incident was also caught in CCTV cameras.
Harmanpreet Singh, who is undergoing coaching for IELTS, alleged that Baljinder Singh hit him with his car and as he fell on the bonnet, the teacher drove along with him for a long distance.
A case has been registered against Baljinder, who teaches at a government school in the village, under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
SHO Jaspal Singh said the incident happened during a fight between the two sides and the accused carried the youth on the bonnet of his car for around 10 km.
