Queensland Police have issued an urgent plea for help to find a missing four-week-old baby boy from Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, who may be at “significant risk”.

The baby was last seen on Sunday, and is known to a 37-year-old woman who is believed to be travelling in the Brisbane City area on foot.

She is believed to be Pacific Islander, approximately 168cm tall, proportionate build and with brown hair and brown eyes.

A woman was last spoken to at Thursday midday however the infant was last sighted on Sunday, June 10.

Authorities issued the amber alert just after 11am on Friday. The urgent alarm is deployed to media in situations involving the search and recovery of an abducted child or high risk missing child.

People are urged to ring 131 561 to provide information about this abduction, or call 000 to relay life threatening information about this abduction.
