In an emotional post, Ranveer Singh promised fans that this project will not disappoint them.He shared, “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this. The makers also revealed that Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal have been roped in to play pivotal parts in the narrative. This yet untitled film marks Aditya Dhar’s second project post the success of National Award winning film URI: The Surgical Strike. The director has indeed pulled off a massive casting coup with this project, which promises an exceptional storyline. This multi-starrer is backed by Jyoti Despande of Jio Studios along with Aditya’s production company B62 Studios.
Post Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahanii, Ranveer was going to start shooting for Don 3, but the film will now go on floors in 2025. He has been roped in by Farhan Akhtar to step into the shoes of Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer will be presented in a never before seen avatar.
