The Tata Tiago and Tigor CNG AMT are powered by the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, NA engine that puts out 86hp of power and 113Nm of torque. In CNG mode, the car puts out 73hp and 95Nm. The CNG models get a 5-speed AMT gearbox and it also gets ‘Creep’ functionality. There’s also option of a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Tata claims there will not be any difference in terms of the performance of the vehicle when it is running on CNG and the company also said that the restart gradability is in line with petrol and the best in the segment. The company also introduced a new Tornado Blue shade in the Tiago, Grassland Beige in Tiago NRG and a Meteor Bronze in the Tigor.

Both cars get twin-cylinder technology to save boot space, a single advanced ECU and also gets direct start in CNG. In terms of features, the cars get 14-inch wheels, projector headlamps with LED DRLS, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an eight-speaker Harman audio system, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors. Tigor CNG additionally gets rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps.
