More than three weeks on from the Australian leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, die hard fans are still trying to secure a surprising keepsake from the sell out shows.
Swifties are taking to social media to offer up handfuls of confetti from Taylor’s Melbourne and Sydney performances, with fellow fans jumping at the chance to get their hands on the hot commodity.
Asking fans to cover the cost of postage or pick up the rainbow confetti for free, one generous fan offered up some of her own stash to fellow Swifties.
“Does anyone need Taylor Confetti? From Sydney N3 (night three),” she said in a post to Facebook.
“Just $5 to cover time and postage. Or pick up free in Perth.
They aren’t perfectly straight but can easily be pressed between books to straighten them out.”
Tay Tay fans were quick to take advantage of the offer, putting their hands up to take some of the confetti.
“Yes please,” many commented on the post.
Fans of the international pop star who were unable to attend the seven shows in Melbourne and Sydney or who were stuck in the stands where the confetti did not fall, have been attempting to secure the confetti long before the tour had wrapped up in Australia.
“I’m hoping that someone would be happy to grab me some confetti as I was in the stands. I would love to make a memory box,” one mega fan posted to Facebook last month.
“I would love to get the confetti at the end during Karma and the All Too Well leaves but I’d be happy with anything.
“I can give you $$ for the stamp and envelope to post it to me.”
Following a short break, Taylor Swift will head to France to begin her 15 show European leg.
