A burglar in China left a note for the owner after robbing a business in Shanghai. In the note, the thief requested him to improve their anti-theft system, reports South China Morning Post. The incident occurred on May 17 when a man surnamed Sang, scaled the building’s outer wall and stole a watch and Apple MacBook.
When inside the building, Sang gathered mobile phones and laptops, and piled them on a desk.As per the Shanghai police, he then wrote a note and stuffed it under the pile of digital devices.

What did the note read?

In the note, Sang wrote, “Dear boss, I took a wristwatch and a laptop. You should improve your anti-theft system. I did not take all the phones and laptops, fearing it might hurt your business.”
Sang did not stop here. He left his number in the note and wrote “Contact me if you want your laptop and phone back,” at the end of the note.
Shanghai police subsequently arrested the thief using the phone number he left, and the public surveillance cameras. Sang, now under custody, was caught while on a train leaving Shanghai with the stolen items.
In a similar bizarre incident in India, a thief fell asleep in AC after robbing a family in Lucknow. The incident took place in the locked house of a doctor in Sector 10, Indira Nagar where a thief sneaked in, meticulously rummaged the premises, collected the booty and then switched on the AC to take a rest. However, the man who was also in a tipsy state, dozed off, only to be woken up by the police next morning.
