World Wrestling Entertainment is one of the most popular sports entertainment productions around the world and rightly so. The electrifying crowd, intertwined with the wrestling prowess of our favourite superstars, each portraying their character presents a unique blend of sports with entertainment. WWE as a company too, banks on the hype of these wrestling sensations and obsession of the fans.
While most of the times this hype is justified, at times one can be left wondering if certain superstars are worth the hype. WWE leaves its fans a room for healthy debate and we cash in this opportunity to make an analysis based on our own opinion. In this article, we list a few names from the current roster who we think might be overrated.

Here are five of the most overrated WWE female superstars

Liv Morgan

While this name might come as a surprise for many Morgan fans, considering she is the current Women’s World Champion in her second reign and a member of the Judgement Day Stable, one might even wonder if Liv Morgan is worth the hype.
In recent times, a better part of her storyline revolves around accompanying and promoting Dom Mysterio, who is her on-screen boyfriend. Some might argue this storyline alone is the reason for her social media popularity. However, we consider her current character an under-utilisation of her talents, as she gets eclipsed from the spotlight by the growing popularity of Mysterio.

Nia Jax

Currently signed with WWE under the SmackDown brand, Savelina Fanene aka Nia Jax has been a popular name on the social media platforms in recent times, especially after she tag-teamed with Tiffany Stratton to secure a few wins. Although her wrestling prowess is undeniable, there is ample room for improvement in her performances. While fans are left wanting for a more solid role from Nia Jax, her lack of a proper storyline or punch to her on-screen character can make one wonder if she is really worth the hype.

Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green’s growing popularity on social media has been undeniable in recent times. While she has been a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, much of her in-ring performances in recent times have taken a dip. Just last month, she posted a series of reels on her Instagram about waste-management and taking Michin out as part of her waste-management campaign. However, it turned out to be just a hype for the dumpster match, where she failed to live up to the hype she had set, eventually turning out to be a disappointment.

Tiffany Stratton

Another name on this list which might leave the fans surprised is that of Tiffany Stratton. Although she is the current holder of the title Ms. Money in the Bank, much of her on-screen character relies on her Barbie-doll persona, without having a strong storyline.
In her recent tag-team matches with Nia Jax, she did not even put in enough effort to secure the win, cashing in on the victory served to her on a platter. Apart from her bold gear choices with elements of femininity and glamour, one is often left to wonder if Tiffany Stratton is really worth the hype.

Naomi

Trinity Fatu aka Naomi has been signed with WWE under the SmackDown brand since 2009. Although she did bag a few titles during her WWE tenure, including the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship two-times, her screen-presence and activity in recent times have taken a dip. While the question of her retirement from pro wrestling lingers, one might even wonder if the hype about Naomi is really about her WWE achievements or just fan curiosity about her surrounding her husband Jimmy Uso, who is chartering his way up the men’s roster as part of the Bloodline.
