Donald Trump’s rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, took a dramatic turn when an unidentified man leaped into the press gallery following Trump’s tirade against the media.
This comes weeks after an assassination attempt that happened earlier when a bullet grazed Trump’s ear, and another shot missed him in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The former president was addressing a crowd at an event hosted by the far-right group Moms for Liberty when he launched into a familiar critique of media outlets.Accusing CNN of “fawning” over Kamala Harris, Trump’s rant set the stage for an unexpected outburst.
In a scene reminiscent of a chaotic movie plot, the man vaulted over a bicycle rack and began scaling the press riser. His actions prompted a swift police response; he was subdued with a taser and escorted out, all while Trump quipped to the crowd, “Is there anywhere that’s more fun to be than a Trump rally?”

Moments later police handcuffed another man in the crowd and led him out of the arena, though it wasn’t clear if that detention was related to the initial altercation.
The incident occurred amid increased security concerns at Trump rallies, following a recent shooting at an outdoor event in nearby Butler, Pennsylvania, where a gunman grazed Trump’s ear. Since then, security measures at political gatherings have noticeably intensified.
It remains unclear what motivated the man to storm the press gallery or whether he was a supporter or critic of Trump.
Trump’s rallies are often marked by sharp criticism of the media, which typically leads to his supporters booing and gesturing toward the press section, often with middle fingers raised in contempt.
