Two men aged in their 20s have been charged with the murder of a 42-year-old woman who was found dead in a hotel room three months ago.

Homicide Squad detectives charged the men after a lengthy investigation into the woman’s death that occurred on February 4 in Perth’s southeast.

St John Ambulance responded to a call about an unresponsive woman in a hotel room on Great Eastern Hwy in Ascot.

When paramedics arrived, the woman was found dead.

Qian Liu, 28, has been charged with her murder.

The Joondalup man appeared in court on Tuesday and is next due to face Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on May 29.

A 24-year-old Baldivis man has also been charged with her murder and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on June 6.

According to The West Australian, the woman was originally from China and a mother.

She was also reportedly working in the sex industry at the time of her death.
