A UK YouTuber named Sam Pepper was hospitalised with food poisoning after consuming a traditional Indian drink called bhang lassi during his tour of India. The incident which took place in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh has forced him to postpone his tour. This drink, containing components of the cannabis plant, is popular in the Indian subcontinent but proved too strong for Pepper, who experienced severe digestive issues despite initially finding it “amazing.”

The cups were used by everyone. They used unpasturised curds or something.”
