NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that M Venkaiah Naidu‘s biography would inspire people, while virtually launching books on the former Vice President on the eve of his 75th birthday.
PM Modi said this after releasing three books on Venkaiah Naidu’s life and journey at Anvaya Convention Centre in Gachibowli, Hyderabad via video conferencing from Delhi.
Addressing the occasion, PM Modi said he is happy that he got the opportunity to release the books and expressed his belief that the former Vice President’s biography would serve as an inspiration to the public.
He said, “Venkaiah Naidu – Life in Service”, would inspire people.
The first book, “Venkaiah Naidu – Life in Service,” is a biography penned by S Nagesh Kumar, who previously served as the Resident Editor of The Hindu’s Hyderabad edition.
The second book, titled “Celebrating Bharat – The Mission and Message of M Venkaiah Naidu as 13th Vice–President of India,” is a photo chronicle compiled by Dr IV Subba Rao, the former Secretary to the VP.
This book visually captures the essence of Shri Naidu’s tenure as the 13th Vice-President.
Lastly, a pictorial biography in Telugu, “Mahaneta – Life and Journey of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu,” authored by Sanjay Kishore, offers a comprehensive look at the life and journey of the former Vice President, catering to Telugu readers.
The event was graced by the presence of Venkaiah Naidu himself, along with various other leaders and prominent individuals, at Hyderabad.
