NEW DELHI: India’s star batsman Virat Kohli arrived in Colombo on Monday ahead of the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan airport staff and fans welcomed him warmly and took the opportunity to snap some photos with the celebrated cricketer.
Kohli, who retired from T20Is following India’s victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup, will now focus on ODIs and Tests.
The rest of the Indian squad will join captain Rohit Sharma and the ODI players after the final T20I in Pallekele on July 30.

The ODI series will kick off on August 2 in Colombo, with all three matches set to be played at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium. The second ODI is scheduled for August 4, and the series will conclude on August 7.
