Boat has a gift for Australian cricket team, a speaker that never goes “silent.” You want to know what it’s called? It’s named A.I.R Dope, and the A.I.R is the acronym for “Australia India Rivalry.” And it’s the “Cummins edition.” “Not cumin or jeera.” But a subtle jibe on Pat Cummins, who last year before winning the ODI World Cup against India said, “nothing more satisfying than hearing a big crowd go silent.”
Showing off the A.I.R Dope Cummins edition in a Reel on Instagram, the company highlights the features of the speaker.FYI, it’s not a real product, but a parody video.
The speaker has no volume down button in this speaker, and has a new feature called “Boom Boom Bass,” which Boat says “will put Aussies in treble.” Also, there’s no mute button; that has been replaced by the cheer button, pressing which will play the India chants. What’s best is that you can “pat” the “Cummins edition” speaker to enable cheer mode.
The A.I.R Dope Cummins edition speaker supports “AUX” but not “AUS,” says the Boat. The speaker also has built-in stereo sound, which the company says “unlike Maxi [Glen Maxwell] plays great every time.”
But, the biggest of all features is the equaliser, which the Boat says is to “equalise the scores of 19th November,” the day Australia beat India in ODI World Cup’s finale. Someone asks in the video “Can this [Boat A.I.R Dope Cummins edition] play bumroh bumroh,” to which Boat says “This can, but Aussies can’t”
It’s even lightweight, which is a great features for Aussies, so they “can easily carry this to not look empty handed at th airport.”
The video ends with the narrator saying “our heads will bang, and there (Travis) head will be in pavilion.
Last week, India defeated Australia in the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which reduced Australia’s chances of making it to the playoffs. Few hours later, Afghanistan beat Bangladesh, securing their position in the playoffs while eliminating Australia out of the World Cup.
