India secured a commanding victory over England in the one-off women’s Test, triumphing by a substantial margin of 347 runs on Saturday in Mumbai.
India posted a formidable total of 428 in the first innings and restricted England to a mere 136.
Opting not to enforce the follow-on, India came out to bat once more and eventually declared their second innings at 186 for 6 to set a challenging target of 479 runs for England to chase.

In a display of dominance, the Indian bowlers continued to excel, dismissing England for 131 in their second innings during the first session of the third day, sealing the comprehensive win.
Deepti Sharma, who had claimed five wickets in the first innings, once again played a pivotal role, securing figures of 4/32 in England’s second innings.
